Creating and developing the necessary platforms for a knowledge-based economy in the field of health is one of the long-term goals and perspectives in the country, which vice presidency for science, technology and knowledge based economy is trying to strengthen and implement through various programs.
The health export development center has been formed as an arm to support the country's health exports and their market development.In addition to providing various services in order to strengthen and empower companies in the health sector, this center has special programs for export management of interested companies.

Market development
Despite the existence of export infrastructure in many companies and the favorable quality of Iranian products for export and entry into global markets, Iran's health sector companies have little or no use of export market development tools. Iran Health Export Development Center, through the following tools, in addition to providing the necessary information for the attractive export markets of each product, takes action on the practical implementation of export marketing activities. This is done in the following ways.
Financing
In line with its defined mission, the center acts to provide the necessary export capital of manufacturing companies or export intermediaries. This work is done in two ways, granting facilities and participating in exports.
The export facilities of this center are provided to the applicant companies through the channel of export development fund and medical equipment fund.
With the aim of supporting exports, this center provides financing for companies' exports in the form of investment partnership contracts.
Export management
Companies that are interested in outsourcing their export activities can export their products by concluding a contract with Iran Health Export Development Center. The center has the ability to provide export services to applicant companies due to the presence of a network of business associates in European, African, South American, CIS, India, China and Southeast Asian countries. The contracts of the center with the applicants are generally 5 to 8 years and the actions taken are as described in the flowchart below.
